ACE Hospice volunteers make a real difference: Do you have a few hours a week to help support a hospice patient and their family with your time and caring spirit? Ace Hospice is seeking volunteers to help in patients’ homes, in the office and on projects that can be done remotely from your home. We are currently in need of compassionate volunteers to provide companionship, caregiver relief, help with errands, bereavement help and community outreach. Ace Home Health and Hospice volunteers support and enhance our services and make a real difference in the lives of our hospice patients and their families. Our volunteers work in almost every department—visiting with patients, working in the administration offices, making bereavement calls, taking their therapy dog to visit patients, and so much more. We offer volunteering opportunities throughout our service area (East Bay)…Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Our volunteers are motivated by a desire to give something back, but soon find that the emotional and spiritual rewards they receive far outweigh the time and caring they contribute.
