Located in Downtown Pullman, this hotel is focused on all things local. With a cool vibe, modern amenities, & retro feel, this 30-room property hosts a beer/wine/coffee bar, balconies with fire pits, and a gym. This is not your average boring hotel. With local art around every corner and weekly events unseen in the hospitality world, we are looking for out-of-this-world Housekeepers to match our standout, local, friendly feel. The purpose of the housekeeping and laundry team is to maintain the guest rooms and public areas of the facility in accordance to hotel standards while reflecting the high expectations of our guests and patrons. Housekeepers report to both the Operations Manager and the General Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned to Hotel McCoy’s standards Ensure that public areas are clean and well-maintained Stock linens and supplies as needed in storage closets Stock and properly store laundry carts after each shift Notify management of any broken or missing FF&E items Notify maintenance of any maintenance issues Respond to any and all housekeeping requests by guests or through the work order program Interact with and respond to guests’ questions or concerns Attend scheduled housekeeping meetings Follow proper safety while at work Comply with and enforce policies and procedures Assist other departments as needed or assigned Work and communicate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel QUALIFICATIONS Must be 18 years of age or older Excellent oral and written communication skills Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing Basic math skills Excellent organization and problem-solving skills WORKING CONDITIONS Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, carries and pushes Lifts and carries supplies, and cases, weighing up to 50 lbs Essential hand/eye coordination Work is normally performed in a typical interior and exterior hotel, work environment Noise level is moderate to high Limited exposure to physical risk Moderate physical effort required COMPENSATION $15 P/HR Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.00 per hour
