Who We Are: Founded 75 years ago, WaterSaver Faucet manufactures precision faucets and valves for science laboratories.  Our sister company, Guardian Equipment, was founded 45 years ago and manufactures industrial safety equipment.  We have been family-owned for three generations and are the largest players in our two industries. Proud To Call Chicago Home: We love Chicago and have always been here.  We have two state-of-the-art facilities totaling 200,000 square feet in River North.  WaterSaver is at Erie and Halsted Streets, while Guardian is at North Branch and Division Streets on Goose Island.  Both companies have gated off-street parking, are close to the Kennedy Expressway (I90), and have easy access to public transportation. Positions Available: We have a variety of assembly jobs available depending on your skills and ability: - Mechanical assembly using powered and manual hand tools. - Electrical assembly of products with 110/240 volt and low voltage power.  These positions require some knowledge of electrical circuits. - Light assembly of smaller products, subassembly of components, picking and packing parts, etc.  Skills and Qualifications: We don’t need prior experience.  We can train you for your job.  All we need is: - A high school diploma or GED. - Ability to read and understand English and do basic shop math. - Ability to work on your feet for a full day in a fast-paced environment. - An interest in working with your hands on real products. Pay and Benefits - Starting salary is $15 or more, depending on the job. - Pay rate can increase by $2-3/hour for perfect attendance and working voluntary overtime. - Paid weekly. - Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance plan. - Optional dental and vision coverage. - Disability and life insurance. - Pension and 401k plans. - (10) paid holidays, paid time off (PTO) days and (5) paid sick leave (PSL) days a year.
