Description

Are you 65 years of age or older and worried about your walking speed and memory? Come join the STAMINA (Senolytics to Alleviate Mobility Issues and Neurological Impairments in Aging) study at the Hinda and Arthur Marcus Institute for Aging Research at Hebrew SeniorLife located in Boston, Massachusetts. As we age, senescent (old) cells can accumulate in our bodies and lead to problems with walking ability and memory. The goal of this study is to see if two medications (called senolytics), that have successfully reduced these old cells, can improve walking speed and memory. The study will involve a total of 8 study visits every 2 weeks over 14 weeks. Visits will include blood draws, 2 urine sample collections, cognitive and walking/balance assessments, questionnaires, and administration of the study medications. Participants are paid up to $300 and parking/transportation can be provided. Contact the study coordinator, Katie, to learn more at
