We are currently hiring a full time Maintenance Technician that will work at our 64 unit apartment community located in Olympia, WA and assist with our sister property in the Olympia/Lacey area. :) In this role you will work with the Maintenance Supervisors to protect our assets through timely and routine maintenance initiatives. Duties and requirements are as follows: 1) Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting 2) Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors 3) Make ready units for new move‐ins 4) Maintain clean, and professional appearance representing our company 5) Responsible for 24 hour emergency maintenance (on/off with coworkers) 6) Schedule and complete preventative maintenance issues 7) Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping on a daily basis 8) Ability to communicate effectively with Property Manager, residents and vendors 9) Coordinate special projects as directed 10) Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned 11) Maintain inventory control for cost effective operations 12) Complete all maintenance requests/work orders within a timely manner 13) Strong organization skills 14) Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with all residents 15) Maintenance Tech must have the necessary tools to effectively complete tasks outlined above. 16) Able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
