Description

Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders. Ensure that the material loaded on the truck is as listed on the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest. Ensure that material is secured for safe transport from store to delivery location. Unload materials for customers at each delivery location in an orderly fashion while verifying that material being unloaded is correct based on the Ship Ticket. Perform daily detailed inspection of vehicle to ensure general maintenance and safety of vehicle. Additional responsibilities include, warehouse functions including the handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. Monday-Friday with rotating Saturday schedule (no deliveries just warehouse help) 6:30am-3:30pm Requirements: Experience driving 24' Commercial Box Truck Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license. CDL not required. Current D.O.T. medical certification card or ability to obtain a card. Detail Oriented Must meet Company's requirements to drive company vehicles. Additionally, drivers will be required to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Physical Requirements: Frequent driving is required. Visits to customers will expose the incumbent to all types of weather conditions. Must be aware of each customer’s environment and adhere to the proper safety regulations since there will be occasional exposure to events such as excessive noise and moving machinery. Frequent walk, bend, squat, climb, and kneel. Occasional pushing, pulling, and reaching Handling of objects and lifting of up to 50 pounds. Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
