Bass player looking for nothing

Hey there. I'm a bassist. Actually, I lied. I am actually a guitar player, but I got shoehorned into bass because everyone else wants to play guitar. So I play the bass - and god damnit I am proud of it. I was in a band, but then I got tired of dealing with everyone's b/s, so I quit. Truly, I probably have quite a bit of my own b/s, and I am surprised they kept me around as long as they did. But their b/s was worse than my b/s, so I left them. As for my influences, I really like: music. I also like audio, and occasionally noise. I'm looking but not really for a band whose end goal is to play random shows for drunks at run down south jersey bars. For bands who will maybe make 100 a night if the bar owner is feeling generous enough, but more realistically will drink $120 worth of drinks and we end up paying for the privilege to play at their *fine* establishment. It'd be cool to find a working band - the type that has a high turnover rate that also has 12 gigs lines up at said bars mentioned above. Working on crunch because you pissed off your last guy or gal is the best learning experience ever. As for the band member criteria, every... EVERY note must be spot on. One errant note is justified cause for excommunication. Not simply being fired from the band, but being exiled from the SJ music scene altogether. Actually, now that you mention it - exile from the SJ music scene sounds amazing. On the first bus out of here. See ya, thanks for reading
