We are seeking a Distribution & Receiving Clerk to become an integral part of our team! You must have some retail receiving experience. You will help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment activities. Positive outlook with a can do attitude is going to be key!
Responsibilities:
• Assemble, address, and ship merchandise in the most cost effective way.
• Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material in our software.
• Arrange appropriate shipping methods of products.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
• Perform some light janitorial duties (i.e., emptying garbage cans, cleaning bathroom and replacing supplies).
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields.
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Some computer skills are needed (Excel, FedEx Shipping Manager & Retail Receiving Software).
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Easily adapt to change.
