Osmose Utilities Services is hiring Pole Restoration and Pole Inspection Crew Members to perform maintenance work to poles. Restoration Crews drive steel into the ground to restore poles and install steel trusses to deteriorated wood poles. Steel toe boots required. Pole Inspection Crews dig 18" down around poles and inspect for decay. Lace up work boots required. Job tasks include heavy lifting, digging, bending etc. Weekly overnight travel required. Some crews stay longer and come home every other weekend. Ride in company vehicles and lodging paid. Full-time position with steady income. Starting wage is $17/hr plus weekly production bonus, health and dental insurance available, company matched 401K, paid holidays and vacation, lodging provided. Crew Members are expected to operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard hat, safety vest, work boots, etc.) Utilize equipment to excavate ground material around utility pole. Must achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work based on job norm and in comparison to fellow employees. Operate company vehicle (if applicable and qualified).
