CoWorx Staffing in partnership with SubCom is currently hiring for Entry Level Production Operator positions, pay rate will be depending on shift differential. These are Direct Hire (permanent positions) and you’ll be eligible for benefits from your first day! WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: As a Production Operator, you will be trained by an experienced team to safely complete tasks associated with manufacturing and handling cable and equipment. You will be working in one of the manufacturing areas, working with large cable and the extrusion process and assisting with loading cable onto ships. Job duties will include but not limited to: • Loading and turning cable in tanks/pans/reels • Assisting with loading cable in the facility • Working in manufacturing areas • Operating industrial equipment such as fork trucks, pallet jacks, and aerial lifts. Requirements for the positions: • Efficiently use measuring equipment, including but not limited to tape measures, calipers, verniers and micrometers. • Ability to lift and /or move up to 25lbs frequently and up to 40lbs occasionally. • Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs regularly. • Must have the flexibility to respond to multiple assignments. • Ability to speak and read English fluently.
