Looking for Women & Non-Binary Musicians

Recently moved to Boulder from Durham, NC where I was involved with Rock Roulette (2017-2019), an annual fundraiser for Girls Rock NC. This was an opportunity for adults (women and non-binary) to be part of a band for eight weeks to learn songs, fundraise for GRNC, and to play a showcase at the conclusion of Rock Roulette. This was such an empowering experience for all of us who participated. So much so, that some of us continued to play/create music together afterwards. Now I'm in Boulder and looking for other women and non-binary folxs who would like to create a space for playing/creating music or know of a space that already exist in the area. I play guitar (electric & acoustic), write songs, and sing (prefer to do backing vocals). My musical interests are quite broad. At the moment, Cat Power and Horsegirl are on my playlist. Although I'm a bit older, my mantra is "you're never too old" to be creative, have fun, and to learn.
