Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the Sakurai Operator in the operation, cleaning, and maintenance of the Sakurai Press Supervisory Responsibilities: • None. Duties/Responsibilities: • Upon start of shift inspect Press and Press area for cleanliness. Clean as necessary. • Maintain necessary supplies and materials to perform job functions • Assist Sakurai Operator in the setup of Machine - Load Screens - Load Adhesive - Verify Tack and Drying of Adhesive - Run Job - Fill out logbook with pertinent details • Ensure laminator is working properly a. No overlap on Guide or Gripper b. All adhesive is covered. c. Any quality issues identified and brought to Supervisor’s attention • Items as assign by Supervisor • MES • Repair and Maintenance as needed Required Skills/Abilities: • Apprenticeship of minimum of 2 year in Sakurai Operations • Strong Mechanical aptitude • Ability to read/write in English • Knowledge/ application of good safety, process, maintenance, and cleaning practices • No physical limitations (i.e., eyes for color) • Standing/walking/bending during an eight (8) hour shift • Annual Product Safety Training • Basic Computer skills Education and Experience: • High School Diploma or GED certification. • No previous experience necessary Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of standing and walking • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
