Lawn Maintenance Supervisor Thompson Irrigation, Landscaping, Lawn Maintenance was established in Rocky Mount, NC. in 1960. We are looking for a leader that brings high energy, leadership, and a positive can-do attitude to our lawn maintenance department. This supervisor must be capable of managing, scheduling, and coordinating multiple crews, equipment, and projects, effectively communicating with customers. English/ Spanish is a plus. Lawn Maintenance Supervisor (herein referred to as LMS) is responsible for managing all field operations related to Lawn Maintenance Crews. You will coordinate the procurement and scheduled use of resources such as labor, equipment, and materials to ensure maximum use and completion of work within budget, safety guidelines, and quality standards. In addition, LMS will guide and mentor field staff and assist them in carrying out their duties. The LMS often serves as the primary interface between the customer and the crew. LMS must be familiar with maintenance & care of NC grasses, cutting heights, fertilizers, weeds, and pesticides. NC Pesticide applicators license is a plus. Candidate must be able to manage up to 7 crews / 25 people daily and communicate with upper management. Ability to set daily/weekly schedules adapt schedule throughout the day with changes, able to inspect work and redirect staff to make corrections as needed, meet with customers to address concerns and field additional work, able to keep accurate documentation of products and services. Clear criminal record required. Clean driving record required. Ability to use basic computer programs such as Excel, Word, etc. Work is Mon- Fri, weekends only in case of severe events or weather.
