God Emperor Penguin Album Release ALL AGES GOD-EMPEROR PENGUIN God-Emperor Penguin was born during fall of 2020. During the earlier months of the pandemic, with more free time than usual, three friends came together to play the kind of music that we all agreed simply felt good to play - slow, heavy, and cathartic. Without the pressure of upcoming shows for the foreseeable future, it was easy to spend time together doing something that felt good, and God-Emperor Penguin slowly grew from there. When shows started popping up again, we were ready to share what we had come up with, the doomy, dreamy results of the time we spent together for the past year and a half. These songs came together to form Peregrine Mountain, inspired by the epic poem The Conference of the Birds, a story that we all related to in some way. This will be God-Emperor Penguin's first album release, with more to come.
