What you just stated is EXACTLY the point. The idea of the second amendment isn’t for hunting- it’s for being able to stand up to a tyrannical government should it be necessary. Your gonna wish you had that AR-15 should that ever come to pass. Also no AR15 that you can legally buy is capable of full auto firing (which the military) has - not that it couldn’t be modified but that would make it illegal and most people are law abiding gun owners.
