Do you enjoy bluegrass music? Old Time Music? Do you know about the San Diego Bluegrass Society? http://www.sandiegobluegrass.org/ We are friends and fans of bluegrass music. We are local to the San Diego area, but welcome California and national friends and memberships. Here are some reasons to join: *Members get our monthly newsletter, the Tune Up *e-blasts about bluegrass news, concerts, the Summergrass festival, campouts, discounts on selected activities. *We offer programs like Emma’s Gut Bucket Band; free music outreach programs Bluegrass in the Libraries *Instrument donations and instrument lending *Regular open mics and jam sessions; special concerts from famous bands and musicians; instructed slow jams. SDBS is a 501(c)(3) charity and we rely on member support to keep bluegrass alive in San Diego; $20 annual contribution may be tax deductible. Nobody at San Diego Bluegrass Society is paid. Membership money builds our programs. Were are all volunteer Board of Directors with help from numerous other volunteers.
