What is like to be a brown girl in today's world? We invite you out for a beautiful session of engaging activities and conversations on the topic of skin tone acceptance and celebrating each other as brown and black girls! This event is for girls and women. Guests will have the opportunity to shop our PEARLS Girls Community Boutique (Free Store) for cute pieces afterwards! Some topics of discussion include: -Combating Colorism -Colorism stemming from racism -Increasing self-love (Accept and Embrace) -Uplifting other girls and women This session will include breakout groups inclusive of activities, lessons, and conversations- facilitated by our volunteers.
