Join us for the first of four classes in the Oakwood Summer Yoga Series! This session will be held at the Chapin monument and will be lead by Rebecca Carey. Please enter the cemetery on Comstock Ave. across from the Islamic Society of CNY. There will be signs leading you to the Chapin monument.
These yoga sessions are gentle and restorative, no need for prior experience!
Please bring your own mat and water. Attendance fee is $20 and payable through EventBrite. If you prefer to pay in person, please email us at [email protected] to confirm your registration.

Rebecca Carey Bio:
Passionate about offering solutions to common physical, mental, and emotional challenges faced today, Rebecca Alexander Carey studied and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) at Upstate Medical University and her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) certification from Kripalu School of Yoga. She combines her knowledge of the musculoskeletal system with art and philosophy to create unique and engaging content, partnering to showcase these themes locally with organizations such as CNY Healing Arts, Syracuse Parks Department, Syracuse YMCA, Upstate Medical University, and others. Rebecca loves to teach open level yoga and is excited about collaboration with the Oakwood Cemetery Historical Society.
