We will meet at MDK Noodles for dinner and watch a short presentation about "Longevity", the brand new Asiatown Community Mural. While we are there, you can head out to take selfies in front of the mural. It's located behind the building. Then, we walk over to Happy Lemon for some cooling desserts. Please dress casually in yellow and a pair of comfy walking shoes. You pay what you consume. RSVP on Eventbrite is recommended. So, you will receive updates via email. Here is a dose of history:Since 2014, H.Res.606, The House recognized the month of June as Immigrant Heritage Month in honor of the accomplishments and role of immigrants in shaping the history and culture of the United States. Immigrant Heritage Month is an opportunity for Americans to celebrate the countless contributions immigrants have made and continue to make to the United States, and to reflect on their family’s heritage.CoVid-19 Protocol: Please follow Harris County Health Department and CDC recommendations. If you feel sick, have a fever, have tested positive for COVID-19 and have not fully recovered, have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting your test results, or have been in contact with someone that tested positive for or exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days, we ask that you to stay home. You don't need to show vaccination card. But we ask everyone to practice social distancing and wear a mask at all times, except when eating and drinking.
