Description
Subject: Participate in a Research Study on the Needs of Caregivers and the Role of Technology in Helping with Caregiving Needs ($25 amazon gift card)
We are researchers at Drexel University. We are conducting interviews to understand the various caregiver roles and what differing caregiving needs might exist. We will probe about your current caregiving role, facilitators and barriers to caregiving, and what existing tools have been helpful. We will study the possibilities of what can be automated or taken over by others and which part of caregiving work is inappropriate or perceived as valuable to hand off to others. We also aim to understand the role of technology in helping caregivers offload some of their work.
To be eligible for the online study via Zoom, you are:
1. In a caregiving role
2. Interested in understanding how and what part of your work can be offloaded to another person or technology
3. Over 18 years old
4. Not cognitively impaired
5. Able to speak and read English fluently
6. Reside in the United States of America
7. Have access to internet and a camera-enabled device
If you meet these criteria and are interested in our study, please reply to this posting.
The total time will take about 40 minutes for the study, and you will be asked to come to participate remotely via Zoom, a secure videoconferencing service. You will receive a $25 gift card for participating in this study.
Your participation in this study is voluntary and you can choose to not participate in the study at any point.
We look forward to hearing back from you.
