This event is limited to 10 people and includes: intro to bikepacking equipment class hosted by Vermont's own bag manufacturer, Class 4 DesignsGuided group ride to a remote campsite Dinner catered by Ranch Camp at the campsiteOvernight camping followed by a guided ride back to HQAbove: Ashley and Meg, your fearless leaders! On Saturday, participants will meet at Ranch Camp (offsite parking instructions will be provided) and attend a Q&A session lead by Aaron August of Class 4. Aaron will introduce the gear and the group will discuss the etiquette and tactics of bikepacking. Following the discussion, Ashley and Meg will guide the group of ladies on a tour around Lamoille County that includes some of the area's best singletrack, doubletrack and gravel roads. (Route details TBD) Participants will set up camp for the night in a remote location and enjoy a meal catered by Ranch Camp with special guests Fiddlehead Brewing before camping for the night. Sunday morning we'll break down camp and ride back to HQ. Tentative Schedule:Saturday June 26th 1:00pm - Arrive at Ranch Camp 1:30pm - Class 4 Intro Q&A 3:00pm - Pack up and departure 7:00pm - Arrive at camp and set up Sunday, June 27th 7:00am - Rise and shine ! 8:00am - Pack up and depart for day 2 ride 12:00pm - Return to HQ (Ranch Camp) Equipment Requirements:Small tent (you can pack with you or we'll deliver to the camp site)Bed rollMinimum of 650b tiresSleeping bagRain resistant layer (jacket/pants)Weather dependent clothing/layers Water BottlesSnacksThis adventure is geared toward intermediate+ riders with some mountain biking experience. The milage and terrain will require relative fitness levels but no bikepacking experience is required. Fees cover the cost of food and any proceeds beyond costs will be donated back to our local trail stewards, Stowe Trails Partnership. We strongly encourage all trail users to become a member of Stowe Trails Partnership.
