Description
Eating a plant-based, meatless meal a few times a week can lower your cholesterol and improve your heart health. The Northern Tier Center for Health (NOTCH) will host the Healthy for Life® Experience, Pantry Makeover, an evidence-based nutrition educational experience developed by the American Heart Association in collaboration with Aramark to improve community health through better nutrition. Eating meatless meals a few times a week can support your health. Plant-based meals are better for your health, the planet and your budget. They’re also great way to help you increase your servings of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes and nuts. Join us to learn about the benefits of plant-based eating and create a weekly meal plan for dinners, including two meatless options. Part 3 in a 6-Week Series. Click here to register for the other events in our Healthy for Life® series. Experiences are limited to 8 participants per session.
