Safe Kids Car Seat Check Event: Safe Kids Santa Clara San Mateo offers free car seat checks open to the community made possible through our partnership with local law enforcement, fire departments and public health agencies. Car Seat Appointments are 1 hour longUp to 2 car seats per appointmentDuring these events Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians offer the following assistance to parents and caregivers: Ensure that their child’s Car Seat has not been recalledAdvise on how to choose an age, height and weight appropriate Car SeatInstruct and demonstrate how to install and use the appropriate Car Seat in the vehicleInstruct and demonstrate how to correctly place a child in the appropriate Car SeatAnswer any questions parents or caregivers may have regarding Child Passenger SafetyYou are currently registering for the Safe Kids Car Seat Check Event.
