Growing Up Art STEM Storytime is a theatrical storytelling that incorporates interactive science experiments, encouraging the children to bring their individuality into a collective group, utilize resources provided to problem solve and allow exploration of the sciences to help guide the character through the narrative.
The children will be engaged in hands-on activities throughout the show, such as solving puzzles to calculate scientific formulas, adopting an engineering mindset to determine the best method of transferring energy from one object to another, investigating archeological digs to gather clues, and using deductive reasoning to come to a conclusion.
Through art-focused STEM, Growing Up Art allows children the opportunities to participate in art and science activities that will develop vital skills during early development. This class is best suited for ages 3-7.
There will be a take home science activity bag to practice skills learned in class!
