Please join us in celebrating the 2022 Festival of Trees Luncheon and Fashion Show, benefiting Familias Unidas and the Orinda Woman's Club Community Service Committee. Enjoy a delicious luncheon salad while watching a casual fashion show featuring clothing from local fashion houses Chico's of Danville, J.Jill of Walnut Creek, and J. McLaughlin of Lafayette. The event will once again welcome Master of Ceremonies Dan Ashley, Co-Anchor of Channel 7 News.
2022 Major Beneficiaries
Located in Richmond, Familias Unidas works with a diverse population in West Contra Costa County which is 80% Hispanic and 20% African American. They deal with the problems of employment, homelessness, hunger and mental health. The funds they receive from the Festival of Trees will be used to focus on youth and menal health issues. Their methods rely on empowering individuals and connecting them to relevant resources.
The Orinda Woman’s Club Community Services Committee reviews requests from local non-profit organizations, donating funds to aid those most in need. In addition, educational grants are given to former foster children, women re-joining the work force, and students graduating from Orinda’s Miramonte High School.
