Description
We are seeking an Entry Level QA Inspector to join our rapidly growing quality assurance, and inspection teams. The successful QA Inspector will ensure strict compliance with established company QA policy, ISO requirements, client/customer needs, as well as design specifications, and ensure that detailed, thorough inspections are performed to ensure timely production and shipment schedules. Daily job duties include hands-on inspection, use of inspection tools/equipment in a manufacturing environment as well as extensive communication with engineering, production teams. Monday- Friday, 40 hours/week; either production first or second shift and occasional extended daily hours or on weekends. First Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm Second Shift: Monday - Friday 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm • Strict compliance with job procedures, design specifications, established work instructions • Inspection of raw material, parts, components upon receiving • Will perform dimensional, visual and NDT inspection of in-process and finished product • May also coordinate with shipping/logistics teams to ensure compliance with QA shipping requirements • Assist in preparing production status and inspection reports. • Organize and schedule QA and Inspection requirements in a timely manner • Communicate with supervisor, production control, engineering or other shop personnel to resolve quality issues. • Use personal safety equipment while performing duties • Other duties as assigned Benefits: • 100% Company paid Employee Only Medical • Health Savings Account with Employer contribution • 100% Company paid Life Insurance • Paid Time Off • Paid Holidays • 401K with Employer match • Medical Plan options available (two medical plans, dependent/family coverage) • Health Savings Account • Flexible Savings Account • Optional Voluntary Benefits (including: Dental, Vision, Supplemental Life Insurance, Disability (short-term & long-term), Accident Insurance) Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED • Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment, preferred • Able to use a variety of dimensions tools such as calipers, depth gauges, etc. • Machine shop experience, is a plus • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage efficiently in a busy manufacturing shop environment • Strong organizational skills & strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Enthusiastic team player, creative thinker, focus on bottom-line results. • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer other than current employer • Must be fluent in English, any other language skills are beneficial • This position is considered shop work; Primarily indoors • Climate-controlled production facility all year round
