There are currently thousands of children battling critical illness throughout the country. When a child receives a wish, it gives them strength, courage, and the determination to fight their illness. A wish experience has the power to benefit children emotionally and physically—which is why wishes matter. The average cost of a wish is approximately $10,000 dollars to grant. Our goal for this event is to raise enough money to grant the wish of at least one child in the Missouri & Kansas region. The Walk will start at 11:00 am. There will be many activities throughout the morning to help us reach our goal of granting wishes. Activities include: Dunk Tank (Bridgeton Police Officers / Robertson Firefighters), Face Painting for All, Bounce House, Music and DJ, Bridgeton Police Tent, Robertson Fire/EMS Truck (Firefighters Cooking Hotdogs). Stay tuned for more exciting news regarding day-of activities! Louie From the St. Louis Blue will arrive at 11:30 am for fun and photos! Come pet and feed some farm animals with the petting zoo! We are asking for a monetary donation. All proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish. You will find a list of sponsorship benefits on page 2.
