This traffic skills course gives cyclists the confidence they need to ride safely and legally in urban traffic. The course covers bicycle safety checks, on-bike skills and crash avoidance techniques, and includes a student manual. This fast-paced course prepares cyclists for a full understanding of bicycle driving. Please bring your bicycle and helmet. Must be 16 years or older to participate.Traffic Skills 101 / Smart Cycling is a ten-hour two-day course.This class meets in Minneapolis one Friday from 6-9 p.m. and the following Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
