LOST 2 kayak paddles on Sunday in Redwood City

On Sunday, June 12 between 2 - 2:30 I drove from boat launch ramps off Chesapeake up 101 to Whipple Ave with a kayak and 2 paddles in back of pickup truck. I arrived without paddles. I went back and retraced my steps and did not find them or any trace of them if they happened to exit the bed. Both had black handles and one with green paddles and the other orange. They are very conspicuous given their size and coloring. Is is possible that they launched out of the bed but I have no idea if this happened at the launch or on the way home. Nevertheless I figured that since they seemed to disappear from the earth there is a good samaritan grabbed them. Barton
