Description
We have two, black and white, bonded bunny rabbit pairs. Patrick is a mini lop and Lacy is a Lionhead, both were born in 2018. We have had them since Spring 2019. Patrick is neutered, Lacy is whole but NOT for breeding, she has one tooth left (the vet used claw clippers and shattered all the others) that needs trimming every couple of weeks; someone with experience caring for rabbits and using a diagonal cutter tool preferred.
Heishi, their daughter, was born in May 2019 and Sedrick, a Dutch, also a lonely neutered male, was introduced to be Heishi's pal. Each pair has a large cage, and we have devoted a large room in the house for them to roam in. Each pair is out 12 hours, taking turns. We clean their cages and pans twice per day. The floor is covered with rugs to clean or eventually throw away. Heishi and Sedrick are very messy. Patrick and Lacy are fairly fastidious for bunnies. We love all of them but are going through life changes and would like to find them wonderful loving home(s). It has been a great learning experience! They get fresh kale and bananas, their favorites, several times per week (daily causes them to produce too many cecotropes, which is very messy), along with other fruits and vegetables, and sometimes dried fruits and nuts. We buy bailed Timothy grass at TSC that goes in their eating trays/litter pans, and Kent show grade pellets for daily diet. Water bottles need filling every other day, generally. They don't bite, but only Patrick will allow himself to be picked up without running. They adjust to being held eventually. We have given them "bum baths" on occasion, but regular, twice daily, cleaning and changing grass has eliminated the need. Their claws need trimming every couple of months. If this all of this sounds good, please text or email. Each pair with their cage and accessories is $150 or $300 for all.
