Route Driver Career We are a fast-growing national recycling company looking for a motivated, ambitious and safe route driver to serve 3-5 routes per week. Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to: • Perform Daily pre-&post truck inspections • Pick-ups from designated drop centers • Maintain drop centers keeping them clean & free of clutter • Accurately record data & communicate results with the manager • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: • Valid driver’s license • Valid DOT medical exam certificate • Clean Abstract report from MVA – No driving violations within the past 3 years • Must be able to work night shifts • Must be able to work up to 9-12-hour per day • Must be able to perform strenuous physical activities including repetitive movement, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience driving box trucks ranging in sizes from 16-24ft • Route driver will be required to take a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test and will be subject to random testing in the future (we have a zero-tolerance policy) • Route drivers will be required to submit a background check • Must be able to read and write in English and perform routine math calculations, Spanish speaking a + • Route drivers must follow all safety policies & procedures established by the company • Must at all times obey state driving laws and drive safe What we offer: • Work almost every day of the year • Full time position • Competitive wages • Paid sick days • Paid holidays • Paid vacation • Bonus potential • well- appointed late-model equipment to service the weekly routes Please email your resume and why you are the best candidate for the position
