I’m interested in getting connected with local musicians. I’m 42, been playing since I was a kid. Haven’t played with groups or been in a studio in a long time. Can read charts, improvise, and read sheet music (sheet music on bass, not very good at sight reading piano sheet music). I prefer jazzy chord progressions and voicings over riff-based tunes. I have plenty of original ideas or we can play popular music in creative ways or jazz standards or just jam and see what happens. I am more of a rhythm player but can solo decently also.
