Recently got a juvenile boa from someone no longer able to keep it. Unfortunately, we aren’t going to be able to keep it either. It’s a little feistier than when we first got it, and now my kids are scared of it. He has never bit. He did strike while in the cage, when a kid ran up and scared him. I don’t fault the snake for that. My kids have handled him fine before the incident that scared them. Now, they won’t touch him. He will come with what he was in when we got him. (Dome light, heat pad, 1 hide, bowl and 20 long “escape proof” cage) He’s still really small. About baseball size when coiled…. Approx 18inches when stretched
