If you have a dog you plan on taking to the shelter due to whatever your reason is, I would like to help that dog. Shelters are always full and they do euthanize pets, especially owner surrenders. Dogs suffer trauma in shelters, so if I can prevent that trauma for just one dog.. I will feel like I made a difference. I am a rescuer and I have space for one dog. I do rescue from shelters but it breaks my heart whenever I do go there and I end up taking in more than I should. My new policy is that I only help one dog at a time. That way I can give the dog 24/7 attention. I usually rescue, bully breeds, put bulls, mastiffs, dobermans, bull terriers, etc...but I am not limited to those breeds. I am in my early 30s, I have had numerous grooming jobs, kennel facility jobs, and I'm certified in dog training. If you have a dog you no longer want and you can provide proof of up to date vaccinations, I will help. But hurry because I will only be taking in one dog at a time. I foster until the proper home is found and if you want to keep in touch and be apart of picking the dogs new forever home..I am fine with that. I do all of this out of my own pocket, and I put alot of money into my rescues.. so the lesser the fees of gas etc..helps in the long run that way I can put more funds towards the dog.
