Hello! I'm looking for a nanny to look after our 2 wonderful children in Sunnybrae. During the Summer the job will mainly be 9-6 on most Wednesdays and Fridays, and some Mondays. Once school begins in the middle of August, the job will shift to 3pm-6pm, Wednesdays and Fridays. Here are the dates for the Summer (9-530 or 6): June 21st July 1st 5th, 8th 12th 15th August 2nd, 4th, 5th, 8th 9th 11th 12th. Who we are: We are a kind, joyful and loving family. Hugh is a family physician who works with the Yurok tribe. He is very creative and hard-working. He cooks amazing food, weaves baskets, and plays the violin. Kelly is a community acupuncturist in Eureka. She is a Buddhist practitioner who likes to garden, do yoga and take long walks through the forest. We are a low media home. We are not on social media, have old fashioned flip phones and no tv. We like to read books as a family, and we love to laugh. Our daughters are 3yo and 6yo. They are the light of our lives. Our older daughter is well-balanced and good natured. She plays violin and is currently taking capoiera and sewing lessons. Our younger daughter is generous and hilarious. She is about the start preschool. The responsibilities for the job include caring for our children in our home and the surrounding neighborhoods and forest. You'll prepare meals, clean up after yourself and the children, and fold some laundry. I will do my best to have the house nice and clean when I pass it off to you - I hope you will do the same for me when I return. We will do our very best to treat you with tons and love, generosity, and respect. You are: Very hard working and dependable with glowing references. You are not on social media, or if you are, it is a very minimal part of your life. You love the outdoors and doing fun and creative activities with the children.
