Rehoming a VERY sweet, microchipped, 2 year old, male Lab mix that we recently rescued. He has a ton of energy, but also loves snuggles. I will only adopt him out to someone with a yard and that will walk him/give him attention. He is a very submissive dog; I wonder if he was yelled at by his previous owner, as he cowers if you’re loud (I’m VERY goofy/loud, and it can scare him). I am looking for a new home for him as I’ve recently been diagnosed with some major health issues that require surgery (this Tuesday) and my recovery is one year. He has too much energy to not be walked or played with for that long. This was not an easy decision to make, which is why I’m just now putting him up for adoption only 2 days before my surgery. He must go to a good home, which is why there is a rehoming fee. He is great with kids (my youngest are 8 and 9), and loves to play with other dogs.
