The reps are scorching the earth. They vote against everything. So nothings getting done. And they don't care how much or what it cost you. Just as long as they can get back into power. Now I agree with you that communism can be carried to a very bad place and usually does. But fascism always kills hundreds of thousands. Then keeps on killing. Until it turns on itself which it always does. And when it's week dictators step in. And more die. And the people are hopelessly poor. All systems made by humans will go bad. If they don't adapt and change with the times. This is why they call us the great experiment. The longest lasting governments on earth are monachies, autocracies, and dictatorships. Democracies usually don't last very long. They become bound much like we are today. And it's always because. There arises a faction that just won't live with or understand its premises. Because it allows things they see as destructive. And true enough corruption on all sides plays a huge part until they pass enough laws to stop it. At which point it looks to some like a communism. To that end we wrote a constitution. That while no one document can cover everything. It has a spirit of intent. That is backed by the power of law it grants itself. There has been no other government like it. But it leaves too many legal loopholes. Close the holes (something that the corrupt will not allow.) And you loose freedoms. That means in order to survive. One side or the other will have to reach out and make themselves indispensable to the larger world community. That will slow up the process. But frighten some terribly. And will give the corrupt a bigger playground. So from time to time in history it will still collapse and start over. Walling off won't stop it only make it happen faster with more death up front. And it becomes a prison of hatred. With no defence againt the government in power. The more liberal way will go slower with more death later. With more freedom of personal expression but less deffend-able against the system little by little. Yet last longer. There is no collective thing we can do. We cannot make the politicians and wealthy stop. We can only choose a system. And most of the time even that's done for us regardless. The best thing we can do is pass laws to stop other people from poking thier nose in other people business. Something we. Can't do. Most people will no longer tollerate parents and systems that teach hatred of those different from them. It's destroying us in an ever shrinking world. That we need on our side as much as we can get. As the the world divides off into the two major camps autocracies and real communism vs free nations. Each side has to get as many on their side as they can before the shit hits. And one day it will it always does. Evil never stops. And the rest won't tollerate a system that teaches what they consider to be evil or country or personal life style destroying as ok. But that won't help us survive as a nation. Only make the world afraid we're becoming the next russia. (Something it's already doing.) Yet will give the people for a short time the ability to fight here at home against what they don't like. And each other. Letting them think they have freedom. The answer is simple. One side will loose. Or both will. It at this point. It actually becomes easy. Our first priority must be to survive as a country. One that has enough world behind us to keep the evil countries at bay. As one united force. That means they will have to be invested in us. Actually own part of us. So they can't afford to loose us. Or need us to help them with their defence against the evil. Look to all democracies in history and see what worked in their defence against the outside evil no matter what the country evolved or morphed into. And what destroyed them from within or undermined them to the point of defencelessness against the evil. No large society in history has ever found a better solution. They either change or die. When you do. You see many of these new changes are very dangerous. But without them. Or holding fast to " old ways" is a a death sentence every time. In This case not only for our county but most likely the free world. So yes, America on both sides at a ruling level. Is as corrupt as most counties. That you won't fix. But survival of the nation itself. Has to be the first priority. And we can't do that in this world alone. That means any ideas that separate us from the rest of the free world. Must take a back seat to be argued out later. The fact that our leaders are power and money grubbers. Is something that all countries down through history have had to deal with. And can't be escaped. Only watched and fought. And in a strange way you need them to a point. So once again. It's simple. Our only choice is to let the left have it. The right as they always have. Will turn us into a prison state and cost us the nation. You see it time and time again. Just this one time let us learn. As a people. Yes it will be hard. Yes it will come with dangers. Yes we will face new challenges. Change hurts. But the alternative has historically always been death of the nation, the people and their ideal with them. No one likes a war and mass killing. But sometimes we have to choose the lesser of two evils. This is no difference. When it comes to do or due or die. You pull out the stops. So we can be here for future generations. On the hope they will make other changes or do better. But we have to be here to do that no matter what we temporarily become. The right may have very real concerns. But they have to understand you can be right until you die from it and take everyone with you. Or you can live to fight another day. And so far down through history. They've been the most destructive to democracies. And right now they're following right into the exact same steps that failed everyone before them. So it not an " I hate you people" thing. That has to come second.
