Description
We are rehoming my grandmother's Japanese Chin. She passed away late last year and our family has been taking turns caring for her dog. We recently decided to purchase my grandmother's house, so we were expected to assume permanent care of her dog. We already have 2 bigger dogs (purebred German Shepard and a German Shepard mix). The purebred Shepard is less than a year old and has shown some domant behavior over my grandmother's dog and we do not want anything to happen to him if we are not able to keep them supervised. He is a very sweet dog, about 14 years old. He is very calm but will sometimes bark when he is feeling lonely, but is completely content while in the company of others. We believe that his hearing is mostly gone because he will not respond to his name when called unless you raise your voice a bit. He was given a bath and nails trimmed today before I took his picture, but he could probably use a visit to a groomer. He would be a great fit for an elderly person since he is low energy/low maintenance, although he is very good with children (we have a 3, 5 and 10 year old). We will include his crate and dog bed. Asking for $100 rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a good home. I may not answer if you call, but please leave a voicemail.
