Following the success of last winter's concert, Arts & Cultural Alliance of Freeport is proud to bring back the Portland Trumpet Ensemble to Meetinghouse Arts to heat things up this summer. The Portland Trumpet Ensemble was founded in 2016 and features some of the best trumpeters in Maine. Members are graduates of music schools across the country. In addition to frequent solo performances, they have performed with the Portland, Bangor, and Midcoast Symphony Orchestras, the Reading and Harrisburg (PA) Symphony Orchestras, the Philadelphia Brass Quintet, the Mainstreet Brass Quintet, the Casco Bay Wind Ensemble, the 207 Wind Ensemble, and many other musical organizations throughout Maine and the Northeast.
