Whether you’re a first-time marathon runner, or an experienced runner looking to up your game, our Running Workshop Series is perfect for you. With our certified trainers and experienced marathon runners, the course of three 60-minute workshops will dive into important elements of having a successful running season, including: 1) Building mileage safely 2) Fueling to optimize performance 3) Race week preparation Our team at RunFit MKE has completed marathons, 50K's, 50-milers, half-marathons, and fun runs throughout the country (including the Chicago and Boston Marathon!). There's nothing we love talking about more than running, and we can't wait to share our knowledge with you. Saturday, May 21st- Kick Off the Running Season Right: Our first workshop series - woot woot! This session will include information on proper footwear, running form, and building mileage safely and effectively. Our friends at Performance Running Outfitters will be joining us! Charity: Wisconsin Humane Society Saturday, July 16th- Getting the Most Out of Your Race Training: We'll discuss the importance of injury prevention, strength training, and nutrition for going the distance. Charity: Make-A-Wish Wisconsin Saturday, September 10th- Your Guide to Race Day Success: Our last session will discuss prepping for your race day from 7 days out until you step up to the start line. Charity: NAMI Southeast Wisconsin (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Please join us at 8:30am to enjoy some coffee and network with other runners! The event will begin at 9am and end at10am. This workshop series is open to the public and encouraged for any runner. Bring your friends! Secure your spot now. $60 for entire series (all 3 sessions), or $25 for individual sessions for purchase- upon availability.
