WAIT DON’T DO IT presents Rise Up! - Rise Silver Spring’s first Juneteenth Pride Drag Show! There will be performances by drag artists from the Wait Don’t Do It team lead by hosts NuNu Paris and Raffi. This is a celebration of the LGBTQI+ community and small businesses owned by a diverse background of people. We will have games, music, product deals for MMCC patients, artisan vendors, and food samples from ELife Vegan Soul Food restaurant. Guest appearances by Clark’s Crystals, xSubtleSmilex, Harp Vision, Sissy Lovely Leathers, Heal Thy Soul Purpose, and licensed Canna Therapist Paulette Simone with CannaHeals! The event is from 2-5pm on Friday June 17th on the front lawn at Rise Silver Spring. The WAIT DON’T DO IT team will be performing from 3-4pm. The show will be open to the public for patients and non-patients to enjoy. See you there!
