Join us in celebrating our Kids and Cooking event!  After the success of the Weslyn Bennett Foundation’s Kick Start Reading Month event (see more details here), we are excited to host our first Kids and Cooking event. It will be held on September 17, 2022, from 12:00 p.m to 2:00 p.m. at the Leanna Hicks Public Library in Inkster, MI.  Come and enjoy this FREE, cooking event for kids ages 5-11! To learn more information click here.   According to the American Diabetes Association, "about 283,000 Americans under age 20 are estimated to have diagnosed diabetes." Kids and Cooking will give children a chance to learn how to cook a healthy meal on their own and get comfortable with whole food pairings. We hope you can come to celebrate “Kids and Cooking” event!
