Bring your bike or rent one - ebikes available, too. The route is level for the most part except for some ramps to the bridges crossing the Ohio River. Points of interest: Downtown Cincinnati, Ohio River, the Purple People Bridge, the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, downtown Newport, a segment of the Ohio-to-Erie Trail that begins in Cincinnati, Ohio using parts of the following trails: Ohio River Trail and the Lunken Airport Bike Path. Included on the route is the Armleder and Lunken Connector Trail. From your location simply click on link 1 provided by CycleNuts (using your cell phone) and follow the Google Maps directions to the starting spot; Unload your bike (if you transported it to the starting spot), or follow the CoGo steps to rent one of their bikes at the starting spot, or if you rode your bike to the starting spot then you are good to go; and then click on link 2 provided by CycleNuts and begin the tour (for more complex tours there may also be a link 3 or 4 to click on along the way as well as additional instructions). WHERE TO RENT A BIKE: In the Cincinnati area there is Red Bike, although the rental stations are not close to the tour starting spot.
