Delicious dinner and fellowship on us!! Our Sunday Dinner series is a monthly Zora's House event that centers healthy dialogue and community. It's a special opportunity for women of color local to Columbus, OH to get to know each other, dive into our monthly community theme and unwind in a safe, relaxed and inclusive environment. We will be catering dinner and providing wine! So come hungry and ready to eat! June's community theme is BIRTHRIGHT: Who we are and whose we are. What is our birthright as the daughters of our mamas, aunties, and ancestors? How do we tap into our ancestral knowledge and power? Event cost: $10 for ZH members | $20 love offering for non-members Summer 2022 themes are as follows: April: Dream: Speaking and witnessing the radical dreams we have for ourselves, our families, and our communities. This will be a chance to voice the dreams of your heart, even the ones that feel impossible.May: Daughterhood: Exploring the messy, beautiful, and complex relationships we have with our mamas.June: Birthright: Who we are and whose we are. What is our birthright as the daughters of our mamas, aunties, and ancestors? How do we tap into our ancestral knowledge and power?July: Body-ody-ody: In the midst of Hot Girl Summer, a vulnerable discussion of the bodies we live in every day and our relationship to our hair, skin color, curves, and physicality as women of color.August: Storytelling: Who has ownership of our stories? What does it mean to “author” our complicated narratives in powerful and empowering ways?September: Boundaries: An exploration of our past, present, and future relationship with boundaries, self-care, and the word “no.”PLEASE READ: COVID-19 GUIDELINES All participants must show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test from the past 72 hours. Failure to comply will result in your immediate removal. FAQs: Do I have to wear a mask? We ask that our guests wear a mask at Zora's House. However, you can remove your mask once dinner is served. Is there parking available? Yes, but free parking in front of Zora's House is first come, first serve. There is free parking directly across ZH on Summit Street and in the school parking lot on weekends. Zora's House is not responsible for car tows, tickets or stolen items. Is this ticket refundable? This is a non-refundable ticket. Your donations help to pay the women of color facilitators, caterers, etc. We appreciate you pouring back into your community!
