“Potpourri” is a Queer Variety Show, Costume Contest and Dance party curated by D.A.N.K. featuring DJ’s from Blessed Up Gang, D.A.N.K. (Dope Ass Negro Kids) affiliates, and touring DJ’s. Our goal is to raise funds for local Black Queer organizations (our own primarily and more to be announced soon). This Month (July) is Grimoire our Goth and Goth Adjacent Alternative night. ---------------------- It will feature: - Performances by Wren (ft. Ve’ra), Kali Dreamer, & a dj set from Obi-Wan Shinobi (Blessed Up Gang) - A door raffle ( free entry to the next event and prizes from local orgs tba) - "Werk it" The Category is Goth Baddie. Enter to be judged by a panel of your peers for the prize (a cash prize and free entry w/ +1 to the next Potpourri Event) ----------------------- Our Mission With a focus on the highly marginalized amongst queer people (those of a black and or trans experience) Potpourri aims to be an event to raise funds, connect communities, and celebrate living under the queer umbrella.
