No stranger to dominance at the highest level of the sport, Cayard is a World Champion with multiple America’s Cup campaigns winning the 1992 Louis Vuitton Cup, was the first American to win the Whitbread Round the World Race and earned the Rolex Yachtsman of the Year Award in 1998, was an alternate for the ‘84 LA Olympics and competed at the 2004 Athens Games, and was elected to the National Sailing Hall of Fame in 2011.
