BridgeMusik is delighted to launch our Fifth Annual Summer Festival 2022 by presenting a live outdoor concert "Tango Nuevo of Astor Piazzolla and more with BridgeMusik and the Pedro Giraudo Trio," Sunday, June 26, 4 PM (rain or shine). Astor Piazzolla is a legendary Argentinian tango performer and composer, one of the most important creators of new musical expression known as Tango Nuevo. This concert will feature encores of some of the beloved tangos which audiences have come to adore through BridgeMusik’s performances with Pedro Giraudo (double bass and composer) and his Latin Grammy-winning ensemble including Ahmed Alom (piano) and Rodolfo Zanetti (bandoneon). The trio will be joined by BridgeMusik's Tanya Witek (flute) and Krystof Witek (violin). BridgeMusik students will have the opportunity to perform alongside the professional musicians in several pieces. Bring a blanket/lawn chair; no pets allowed. In case of rain, the concert will be inside the church. This event is made possible by the support of the Christ Church, Sparkill, NY.
