Join us as we take a trip back 100 years to the 1920s for a party unlike any that Houston has seen for decades. Join us at the beautiful Pellazzio Grand Ballroom for The Inaugural Gatsby Gala.WHAT THE EVENING WILL ENTAIL: RED CARPET: Walk the red carpet sporting your 1920s fashions for the world to see. Be sure to take lots of photos. PRE RECEPTION TABLE: A bountiful arrangement of fruit, crackers, cheeses and dips available to all guests upon arrival. LIVE MUSIC: That's right, live music! We'll have a live band providing entertainment for a portion of the evening. PHOTOS: Make sure to commemorate the evening in photos. We'll have a Featured Photographer on hand PLUS an interactive 360 Photo Booth to snap moments as the evening unfolds. HORS D'OEUVRES: No speakeasy worth its booze would neglect to serve up some 1920s era-specific hors d'oeuvres throughout the night to its patrons. Expect delicious crispy crab cakes and vegetarian egg rolls. DINNER: The first course will consist of a refreshing salad, followed by your choice of either: Blackened Cajun Chicken or Bourbon Glazed Salmon both accompanied by roasted garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal mixed grilled vegetables. The vegetarian option for the evening is crispy Eggplant Parmesan. SWEETS: An array of delectable treats. ENTERTAINMENT: Feel free to show off your best dance moves — you can always blame it on the booze. Derrick D will be providing all of todays hit for you to hit the dance floor. BOOZE: What would a GATSBY GALA be without a completely open bar from 8 pm until 1 am. Serving premium alcohol, red and white wines, as well as a variety of beer. PRIZES: Best Dressed Awards for Male & Female The recommended attire for the evening is Gatsby/1920s and the dress code will be strictly enforced. FAQ:Q: What is the age requirement for this event? A: All attendees must be 21+ Q: Do I need a date? A: No, but if you've got one lying around bring them along. Q: Will there be vegan/vegetarian options? A: Yes, there will be a limited amount of vegetarian plates available as well as fruits, salads, etc. Please make any dietary requests to [email protected] Q: Is there a dress-code? A: Yes, we asked that everyone come in their best 1920s formal attire. Q: When is the last day to purchase a ticket? A: Ticket sales will end on August 15 to allow us to plan the best function possible. Q: Is this event open to the public?
