Adult Redeploy Illinois (Hosted by Macon County ARI) is hosting a FREE Training for the entire community for the month of June! All of MACON COUNTY IS WELCOME and INVITED to: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Training Workshop: Making the Unconscious Conscious Gain knowledge and grow in your understanding of the multifaceted components of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility to help you become a better leader, advocate, community member, and supporter for your internal coworkers, family, community, and external clients. Workshop Topics: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEI+A) | Sat., June 4th | 10 am - 1 pm Unconscious Biases and Micro-aggressions | Sat., June 11th | 10 am - 1 pm Systemic Issues: Disparity & Disproportionality in Communities |Sat., June 18th |10 am - 1pm Becoming an Ally: Bystander and Upstander Intervention | Sat., June 25th | 10 am - 1 pm Additional Notes: *Registration is required for ALL workshops. *** Participants will receive a copy of the PowerPoint slides and handouts via email at least one day prior to each workshop. *Certificate of completion will be provided with the total number of diversity, equity, and inclusion training hours completed. *Continuing Education Units (CEU) and/or Professional Development hours will be approved upon individual requests.
