The Equity Chair workshop is designed to prepare, support and elevate new and experienced board members of color, and allies, for their role as governing members on nonprofit boards. This training is focused on disrupting board norms and learning how to navigate mainstream nonprofits through a cultural conscious perspective. Main topics include: culturally relevant leadership, speaking your truth, confronting tokenism, among others. At the end of this workshop, participants will have a better understanding and knowledge base as to how to better serve on boards and continue to support our mission as new philanthropists. Workshop instructor: Sharon Vigil - Diversity Equity & Inclusion Stratetgist and Facilitator Space is limited to the first 40 participants. Can't make the date?
